This advanced workshop is designed for elementary educators who have previously attended a WICOR or AVID Foundations/Implementation training and are ready to deepen their practice. Participants will explore strategies for integrating WICOR (Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Reading) into daily instruction across subject areas to design rigorous, student-centered learning experiences that build academic language, critical thinking, and engagement. The event emphasizes developing sustainable schoolwide systems to benefit all students with consistent use of WICOR strategies. This two-day workshop includes resources, materials, breakfast, and lunch, and is provided at no cost by Riverside County Office of Education for public school educators.
