
BatID is a triennial scientific meeting focused on the study of bats as reservoir hosts for zoonotic diseases. It brings together virologists, immunologists, geneticists, ecologists, and evolutionary biologists to explore the role of bats in pathogen transmission and disease ecology. The 4th meeting in 2025 will be held at the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois, and covers interdisciplinary research on bats and public health.
