How do I see which trade shows my competitors exhibit at?
For marketers and sales teams choosing events, the fastest way is ConferenceDB's free competitor tool: type your website, keep the competitors it suggests and add your own, and it lists every show they sponsored or exhibited at, with the package each one was listed under. It reads the lists of 3,663 conferences and needs no account.
The ways to do it, and what each takes
| Way | Cost and time | What you need | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| ConferenceDB competitor tool | Free, about a minute | Your website; it suggests rivals from 3,663 conferences' lists | Every show at once, with the package each rival was listed under |
| A company page on ConferenceDB | Free, one company at a time | The company's name | Every conference we have it at, as sponsor or exhibitor |
| Each show's exhibitor directory | Free, one show at a time | A list of shows to check | Booth numbers, as the show publishes them |
| The competitor's own events page and posts | Free, by hand | Time, and the rival announcing it | What they chose to announce, usually the big shows |
| WHR.AI watches (10times' data service) | 100 companies $40 a month; 100 people $20 a month (read 7 November 2026) | A paid account | A live feed when a watched company registers, sponsors or speaks |

Step by step in the competitor tool
- Type your website. Open competitor trade shows and enter your domain, such as yourcompany.com. You are done when the page shows "Suggested competitors" for you.
- Fix the list. Remove any suggestion that is not a real competitor and add your own in the competitors box, comma separated. You are done when the list holds only rivals.
- Read the summary. Each competitor gets a row with the shows it was at, how many as a sponsor, how many are upcoming and how many you are not at.
- Read the shows. The list puts shows with the most competitors first, then upcoming dates. Each line names who was there, as what, and the published price.
- Keep the gaps. Switch to "Only ones you're not at". Those are the shows to look at for next year.
A worked example: Wiz
The tool opens on Wiz, the cloud security company. On 7 November 2026 it suggested Varonis, SentinelOne, Qualys, Tenable and TrendAI, and found 6 shows those five sponsored or exhibited at. Three had two or more of them, and Wiz was listed at 4 of the 6, so 2 were shows Wiz was not at. The State and Local Billington Cybersecurity Summit had Varonis and Tenable as sponsors, with packages from $17,000. The suggestions can change from one read to the next: an earlier read the same morning named Palo Alto Networks and CrowdStrike among the five and found 16 shows. The limits
- It knows the shows whose lists ConferenceDB has read, not every event a company attends.
- Companies only: no contact names, emails or phone numbers.
- Result pages are not indexed by search engines; the prefilled example is the only one that is.
- Past 10 shows it asks for an email; it is still free.
How the tool finds them
The tool matches companies by their website, so a rival is found whenever a show listed it under a name we could tie to its domain. It names competitors from your website, then adds the companies at the most of your shows. A show line is the competitor's latest listing at that show; the price is what the show publishes for that package, or its cheapest package when the level is not named.

Questions
Is the competitor tool free?
Yes, with no account. It lists the first 10 shows, then asks for an email to show the rest, still free. The prefilled example is never gated.
How many competitors can I compare?
Up to 8 at once. Type only your website and it keeps the 5 companies it is most sure of; remove any that are not real competitors and add your own, comma separated.
Why is a show my competitor went to missing?
The tool only knows the shows whose sponsor or exhibitor lists ConferenceDB has read, and a company listed under a different name or website can be missed. Check the show's own directory for it.
What does the published spend figure mean?
It adds up the prices the shows publish for the package each competitor was listed under, so it is a floor from public prices, never an invoice. Shows with no published price are left out of it. How to see what a sponsorship costs
